Here Baby girl is in the car next to the bank with some other kids.

Here she is making her deposit into the bank

Mommy is helping me do some grocery shopping.

Daddy is watching me place balls into the rainbow.

Here I am playing in the sandbox.  I never knew I could play with sand inside.

Ride em cowgirl!!!

This was a huge table full of train tracks and such!!!  It was a lot of fun.

It was fun playing in the balls with all of the other kids.

I am in the doghouse with a soft doggie.

Here I am examining my patients x-rays of his teeth.

After the x-rays I am now brushing his teeth.

This table had little squares with magnets in them that I could put together to build things.  I wish I had some of these at home!!!  Daddy was even building a skyscraper with them.

This was the biggest light bright board I have EVER seen.

Here mommy and I are watching a disc go around in a circle.  The gray circle platform was moving non stop and we had to try to keep the disc on the moving circle.  It was a challenge, but we did it!!!

Here I am making big bubbles!!!!  Who thought I could play bubbles inside.

Here Daddy and I are inside a huge bubble.

As the circle got higher the bubble got skinnier and skinnier almost touching us.

And then it popped!!!

I got to drive the Yellow Bug!!!  There was even a traffic light, and when it turned yellow I yelled PUNCH IT!!!!

Here I am giving a performance with my guitar!!!  I had so much fun at the museum, I can’t wait to go back again soon!!!

I love camping!!!

Here, I am reading a book to my mommy’s dolly.

October 2011…

Daddy helped me carve a pumpkin.  This pumpkin I watched grow in Papa in Holland’s garden over the summer.  When Grandma and Papa took care of me I would walk outside and go check on it every week.

Here I am helping Daddy clean the inside of the pumpkin out.

Here I am getting ready to go Trick or Treating!!!  Can you tell I am really excited?

CHEESE!!!

I went to Cranes Orchard and picked my very first apples with mommy and daddy.

Look at my back of apples.  And they are very very sweet because they are honey crisp apples.

I got to ride on the cow train.  I had a blast!!!

During pumpkinfest in Zeeland, they had a petting zoo and I got to pet a turkey…

and I even got to feed a horse.

Here I am putting out corn for  Santa’s reindeer when he comes to bring me presents on Christmas!!!  I also left milk and cookies for Santa too.  And he even left me a thank you note for the great cookies I baked him.

Can you tell i am really excited that Santa Claus found me?

I am showing Great Grandma in Illinois my pirate ship Santa gave me.

I am just being a ham!!!

Santa brought me a fishing game, and here Grandma in Illinois is fishing with me.

I was able to collect eggs from Grandpa in Illinois chickens.  I had lots of fun.

Grandpa and I are coming back from collecting the eggs.  Look how many we got!!!

I took several walks around the pond to help Grandpa feed the squirrels and other critters that might come around.

I am a tree hugger!!!

Grandpa in Illinois wanted to get in on the fishing action as well!!!

Here I am showing Great Grandma how to play with the tablet mommy and daddy got for Christmas.

Here I am with my mommy and daddy having lots of fun and trying to stay out of trouble.

Baby Girl at the Local County Fair

Janet and I took baby girl to the local county fair last night.  Here are a few photos to share:

Baby girl rode the carousal three times for the price of two.  Janet went on with her the first time, and then we were going to take her to ride the train, but the person running the ride wouldn’t let us ride with her unless we paid ourselves so we told him forget it and went back to the carousal again since the person running it let us go on with her for free.  And then while I was on it with her, Janet was talking to the person running the ride and asked Janet if baby girl and myself wanted to ride again for free if Janet would continue to talk to him.  He told Janet,  “not very many people actually talk to us carnival people because they all seem so scared of us, so when you started talking to me, I decided it would be worth it to let your husband and child ride again if you promise to keep talking to me.”  Janet gets the talking to anybody from her dad.  :)

The fair had a petting zoo where you could pet the animals and buy food to feed them, so that is what we did.  You could buy a ice cream cone filled with food for the animals.

The llama in this photo was baby girls favorite!!!  There were a lot of other goats and sheep in the pen, but she kept saying she wanted to feed the llama.  The goat in the photo followed us around everywhere.  He was VERY hungry.

Baby Girl’s 2nd Birthday Party Photos…

Janet made Baby girls cake.  It is the caterpillar from baby einstein.  I think Janet did a wonderful job.

Here Baby girl and her cousin are sitting in her new wagon she got from Ohma and Papa Poppema.  She got a lot of fun stuff, and even some green stuff too.  She knows what it is too.

Baby girl attempting to blow out her candle

Baby girl had more fun hitting the balloons around to everyone then opening her presents.  She enjoyed opening her presents, but the balloons were the hit of the party!!!

Easter photos!!!!

Here are some photos of baby girl’s second Easter.  She definitely knew what to do with the eggs.  We figure she learned how to put them in the basket from Grandma and Grandpa’s in Illinois!!!

She took a mad dash for the eggs when she first seen them.  She was so excited she forgot the basket

Grandma in Holland is watching baby girl pick up her Easter eggs

Babygirl’s 2 year photos…

Janet and I took baby girl to get her 2 year pictures done professionally yesterday.  We had them done at Portrait Innovations, and they did a SUPER job.  We wanted all of them, but we just couldn’t afford them all.  Here are the ones we picked out.  We hope you love them as much as we do.  Enjoy!!!

I want to introduce to everyone my NEW fishing buddy!!!  This is actually her first and very own fishing pole.  Portrait Innovations told us to bring some things from home and Janet got the idea of bringing her fishing pole with her.  I loved the idea.  Also, the picture above with her and the teddy bear is a bear that her Uncle Steve and cousins gave her for Christmas this past year.  She sleeps with it every night.

Potawatomi Zoo, South Bend Indiana

Janet and I took baby girl to the zoo on Sat. and here are some photos to share the great time we all had!!!

Here baby girl is feeling a tiger pelt

Baby girl is content right now, but after the tiger got up and starting walking around and came right up to her even though there was glass in between the tiger and her, she got a little scared and said, ” I am done”  and walked off.

Here baby girl is watching the River Otters.  They have to be my favorite.  They are so playful.

She loved being on this big tortoise statue, but as most of you know about baby girl, she doesn’t stay in one place for very long.

We went back to our car to have lunch.  Here baby girl is enjoying a chip!

Here we are walking back to the zoo after eating our lunch.   As you can see she is being a very big helper holding the monkeys tail with me.  This monkey backpack/leash was a huge help.   Baby girl wasn’t in her stroller that much.  She did a lot of walking around the zoo.

This is the train that we all rode on.  It wasn’t a very long ride, but baby girl totally loved it!!!

Here baby girl is reading all about the Tiger to us :)

Here are a few photos that Janet and I took of the animals…

Below are a couple of photos of her visit with Santa

And this is her when we got home…

What fun baby girl had at my cousin’s wedding…

My cousin Deb got married on a farm the other weekend.  It was not your typical wedding, but it was tons of fun.  After the wedding itself there was so much to do for the kids.  They could feed the farm animals, play games, there was a playground with a zip line on it, and last but not least they had what they called a “pumpkin train.”  It was barrels cut open and painted orange and then they put little steering wheels on each one also.  There were probably 20 of these barrels hooked together and pull by a garden lawn tractor.  As you can see from the photo below, baby girl had the best time.  When I went to put her into the barrel, I planned on her crying and screaming and wanting out.  But to no avail after I buckled her in with the seat belt to keep her in, she grabbed that steering wheel and was turning that thing like she had been doing that for years.  When she got back from the ride, she wanted to go again, so she got to go again because no other kids were waiting to get on.  She had the most fun.  I just love this photo my dad took of her on the pumpkin train!!!

Here, baby girls two cousin’s are posing for the camera, except they were looking at someone else at the time.
