As of Nov. 24, 2009 Baby Girl has become ours officially. Janet and I went to court to finalize our adoption for Baby Girl. What a blessing this is for Janet and me.  Baby Girl is the best thing that has happened to us. She is God’s present to Janet and me,  since we were not able to have kids of our own. Here are some photos taken from the Courthouse on this special day!!!

The court gives each adopted family a bag of goodies.  In this bag was three stuffed animals, a couple books, a photo frame, and a disposable camera.  Here you see Janet showing Baby Girl the Teddy Bear that was in the bag.  I just love this photo.

Here is my Aunt Barb holding Baby Girl while she meets a new friend and her Mom.  This little girl was also there to finalize  their adoption.  They had the most fun together.  There were a total of 6 families at the Courthouse to get their adoptions finalized on this very special day.

Baby girl had her 4 month checkup last week and she now weighs 17.5 lbs. Wow, we have a big girl now!!! Here are some new photos of baby girl

She loves her bath’s.  She gets in the tub and kicks non-stop.  Mommy gets very wet when she gives baby girl her bath.

I know you are probably looking for new photos of babygirl, but this past weekend I caught a very big fish.  It was a Largemouth Bass, and it weighed 6 pounds and 5 ounces.  It was 24 inches long.  The biggest bass I think I will ever catch.  I have only seen this big of a bass on T.V.  Here are a couple photos of it.

I am sorry I havn’t posted any pics in a long time.  I have been working a lot at work lately, and when I get home from work I have been watching baby girl so Janet can have some down time without her after being with her all day.   She went to the doctor last week for her two month checkup and she now weighs just under 14 lbs.  and 24 inches long.

Janet and I took baby girl to have her first checkup since leaving the hospital.  She is very healthy, says Dr. Peter.  She has a little joundes, but not enough to have to test her for it because she is eating normal and has good BM’s.  Dr. Peter says that having her in some sunlight will also help.
